Joseph R. Forcino is an Associate Law Clerk with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC, where he is a member of the firm’s litigation practice. He began his tenure at PLDO as a legal intern.
Joseph gained valuable insight into federal practice through judicial internships with the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, where he worked with Judge William E. Smith and Judge Mary S. McElroy. In those roles, he researched and analyzed a broad range of legal issues, prepared memorandums and attended proceedings.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, where he served as Executive Articles Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review, participated in the Honors Program, and received the CALI Excellence Award in Residential Real Estate. Joseph also served as a teaching assistant and research assistant, contributing to legal commentary designed to guide international courts, like the Hague, on treaty interpretation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & Legal Studies from Roger Williams University.
An Eagle Scout, Joseph is committed to leadership and service, and outside the office enjoys creative pursuits, including a brief on-screen appearance in Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom.
