Biography/Practice Areas
Peter S. Strobis is Senior Counsel with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC and a member of the firm’s Estate and Trust Planning, Administration and Litigation Team.
Attorney Strobis has extensive experience advising and representing clients on a wide range of estate planning, trust administration, and probate and trust litigation matters. He focuses his practice on developing comprehensive estate plans with full advanced directives specifically tailored to fit his client’s unique circumstances and goals. He also provides counsel to personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries during administration. In addition, he represents clients throughout all phases of probate and trust litigation.
Attorney Strobis is also highly skilled at developing and implementing business succession plans, asset protection techniques and tax minimization strategies including simple revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and complex trusts, such as Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, and Charitable Remainder Trusts. His keen knowledge of the ever-changing landscape of state and tax laws ensure his clients are in full compliance with federal and state regulations.
Prior to joining PLDO, he built a successful private practice where counseled numerous clients acting in fiduciary capacities during complex transactions. Attorney Strobis launched his career at a boutique law firm that provides estate planning and taxation advice to individuals, families, and businesses throughout South Florida.
Attorney Strobis earned his J.D., with honors, from Florida International University College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Florida State University. He is licensed to practice in Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law and Young Lawyers Sections.
