Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara Promotes Two Attorneys to Senior Counsel

Rhode Island – June 24, 2024 – Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC (PLDO) Managing Principals Matthew (Matty) A. Lopes Jr. and William E. O’Gara today announced that Katherine B. Dunn and Peter S. Strobis were promoted to Senior Counsel.

Katherine B. Dunn is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Estate and Trust Planning, Administration and Litigation teams. Attorney Dunn’s practice includes providing counsel to clients in all areas of trust and estate planning and administration, probate administration, and trust and estate litigation. She further represents clients in all stages of litigation from pre-trial investigation and discovery, to motions and pleadings preparation through trial, settlement and the appeal process.

Attorney Dunn earned her J.D. from Roger Williams School of Law, magna cum laude.  She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Roger Williams University Law Review and CALI Award winner in Criminal Law, Contracts II, Legal Practice II, and SEM: Senior Abuse, Neglect, and Injuries.  She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont. Peter S. Strobis is a member of the firm’s Estate and Trust Planning, Administration and Litigation Team. He has extensive experience advising and representing clients on a wide range of estate planning, trust administration, and probate and trust litigation matters. Attorney Strobis excels at developing comprehensive estate plans with full advanced directives specifically tailored to fit his client’s unique circumstances and goals. He also provides counsel to personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries during administration. In addition, he represents clients throughout all phases of probate and trust litigation.

Attorney Strobis earned his J.D., with honors, from Florida International University College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Florida State University. He is licensed to practice in Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law and Young Lawyers Sections.
