Foertsch hosted a webinar, entitled “Florida Probate Process from Start to Finish,” for the National Business Institute (NBI) on Wednesday, March 28, 2023. Attorney Foertsch’s presentation educated attendees about the probate process in the state of Florida, from initial notices through the estate closing, and provided valuable guidance on how to handle claims against an estate, tax reporting and post-mortem tax matters, including final accounting and Florida’s probate rules for closing the estate. Attorney Foertsch is PLDO’s Office Managing Partner in Boca Raton, FL. As a member of the firm’s Estate and Trust Planning, Administration and Litigation Teams, she advises individuals and families in all areas of trust and estate planning, and probate administration. In addition, she has extensive experience in representing individuals and businesses in asset protection, wealth management and tax strategies, and has managed multimillion-dollar real estate transactions, including structuring deals and providing title insurance for both commercial and residential properties.
